Acupuncture

      Myungjin Chung is a New York and Massachusetts State licensed Acupuncturist and Nationally Certified Herbalist. She graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture, one of the most renowned and the first Oriental Medical School in the United States, where she studied Chinese Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture, as well as Japanese Acupuncture. In addition to, she finished her postgraduate Chinese herbal medicine training at NESA Clinic. Myungjin successfully completed internships in public health settings at the New England School of Acupuncture, Malden Family Hospital (Tufts Medical School Hospital) and Mount Auburn Hospital (Harvard Medical School).

      Born and raised in South Korea, Myungjin was early on exposed to traditional Eastern medicine, already preparing herbal decoctions for her family in her teens. A student of Zen Buddhism, she has been devotedly practicing Zen meditation since 1997 which including an intensive three-months retreat in a Korean Monastery. Myungjin draws upon a strong theoretical background and extensive experience in Oriental medicine, as well as experience in nutrition and energy exercises. Having integrated her Zen meditation practice with rigorous training in the United States, Myungjin relies on her sharp intuition, skillful hands and compassion for all beings, and is confident that her natural healing will bring more balance, brightness and harmony into your life.  Myungjin will provide a diagnosis and determine a treatment plan for you based upon your health history, lifestyle, and present health condition.
